Celebrating Together: Learning Through Seasons, Cultures and Connection - Key Events 2025
At Happy Days, our calendar is more than a list of dates. It’s a rich tapestry of celebration, learning and belonging.
Throughout the year, we thoughtfully acknowledge seasons, cultures and special moments that help tamariki connect with the world around them. From Matariki to Chinese New Year, ANZAC Day to Diwali, and everything in between, each celebration becomes a meaningful opportunity for learning, sharing stories and building respect for the diverse cultures that shape our community.
We also love to honour the special people in children’s lives, with whānau events like Grandparent’s Morning Tea, Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations, and our magical Christmas Party in the Park.
These moments are intentionally woven into our teaching practice, helping tamariki grow a sense of identity, empathy and connection to the place they call home. Whether we are welcoming the seasons, exploring new languages or coming together with whānau, the heart of it all is connection — to ourselves, to each other and to the world we’re growing up in.
You’ll find all our Key Dates for 2025 here. We look forward to sharing these celebrations with your child and your whānau.
